2.2 Professional and Educational Information
- Profession and designation
- Company/Organization name
- Educational qualifications
- Textile institution and qualification
- Department/Major
- Batch number and Student ID (for students)
2.3 Authentication Information
When you sign in using Google OAuth, we collect your Google account information including your email address and name as provided by Google.
2.4 Payment Information
We collect payment-related information including transaction IDs, payment gateway details, and payment amounts for membership fees and event registrations.
2.5 Event Registration Information
When you register for events, we collect the number of seats booked and any additional information you provide during registration.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Membership Management: To create and manage your membership account, process membership applications, and maintain membership records.
- Communication: To contact you regarding your membership, events, important updates, and club activities via email, phone, or WhatsApp.
- Event Management: To register you for events, manage event attendance, and process event-related payments.
- Payment Processing: To process membership fees and event payments, verify transactions, and maintain payment records.
- Member Directory: To create and maintain a member directory accessible to other members (with appropriate privacy controls).
- Administrative Purposes: To verify member identity, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with club policies.
- Analytics: To analyze membership trends and improve our services (using aggregated, anonymized data).
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Storage
Your personal information is stored securely in our database hosted on our servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted database connections
- Secure authentication mechanisms
- Regular security updates and monitoring

4.2 Image Storage
Your photographs are stored securely using Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible object storage) with appropriate access controls.
4.3 Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may have access to your information:
- Google OAuth: For user authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to information collected through their service. We only receive your email address and name from Google.
- Cloudflare R2: For secure image storage. Images are stored with appropriate access controls.
- Payment Gateways: For processing payments (bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Cellfin, SSL Commerz, etc.). Payment information is handled according to each gateway's privacy policy.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share information as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.
